Email to Florida Governor Charlie Crist

Subject: Veto SB 2600
Apparently emboldened by the mass thievery going on at the national level, I see our Florida legislature has taken the policies of our Dear Leader to heart and started grabbing for cash with both greedy little hands. I am referring, of course, to SB 2600 in which $6 million dollars from the Division of Licensing Concealed Weapons and Firearm Trust Fund has been raided in a move that would make Vikings, Mongols and Tuskens quite proud.
I am the kind of voter who insists on research, and ordinarily I would quadruple-check anything disseminated by the NRA, however, I am most irritatingly required to rely on the their report of this misappropriation due to the myfloridahouse.gov website’s pitiful coding, which prompts me to download the ASP file that should instead be displaying the full text of the bill.
I sincerely hope this isn’t by design. That’s the sort of thing that could cause people to start filing lawsuits.
As a Citizen of this country, as a CCW holder in the state of Florida, I urge you to put an end to this foolishness. Line-item veto this misappropriation, line-item veto the threat to our state’s education budget if their trust fund theft is circumvented, and shine the light of publicity on the cockroaches that conceived the entire scheme. Prove to us that you’re different, that you’re not the typical politician, that you deserve your Governorship and a future Senate seat.

Why’s that?

[...] A LETTER TO Charlie Crist. [...]

I am very much afraid, Simon, that your just plea will go unanswered. Why? Because Jowly Crist is probably the guy who thought up this heist in the first place. This kind of thing is right up his alley. I hope he gets the Senate nomination. I will so much enjoy not voting for him.

I regret being so easily fooled years ago when I voted for Chist for governor. He should start a new political party, the Populist party. I have never met a person (I used to be a contributor) who has zero desire to stand on principle against the flavor of the day. For a conservative, he sure has alot of liberal views.
NRSC’s early endorsement of Crist is outrageous. They didnt even give Rubio (who is more of a real conservative) a chance.

This is what the tea parties are for. To get this message across. If Crist wants to play this game, we need to make sure that Floridians hold him accountable.
We need a Tallahassee Tea Party to protest this, and the rest of Florida state-wasted spending. The government has over sixty billion in the budget, but can’t figure out where to get 6 million from? That’s BS, right there.
And if he doesn’t stop this, we need to make him pay in the Senate primaries. Heck, we need to do that anyway.

The City of Cape Coral has one of the highest rates of foreclosure in the country. The citizens of Cape Coral recently faced a 40% increase in water rates which will be increased to 90% over the next 5 years. As a teacher I view the effects that the economy has on my students and their families. I have written to the City Council and then to Governor Crist to please assist the City before it is a ghost town. Governor Crist replied that he couldn’t help since it is not in his realm of control. In truth he won’t do anything. DO NOT VOTE FOR HIM WHEN HE RUNS FOR THE SENATE. He has his own agenda but it does not appear to have anything to do with the people of Florida.
