Didn’t get pics of any Jester gear, but here are a few granny’s pics of the New Orleans Tea Party. The Jefferson Parish PD estimated the crowd at 1,200 — we think it was more like 1,500 (and there were 2 more Parties right down the Causeway across the Lake). The police captain was impressed with how the crowd conducted itself and with the fact that Memorial Park looked cleaner after we left than before we arrived. Take THAT inauguration-goers! The whole thing has captured the imaginations of both young and used-to-be-young.

My woman and I attended one in NC. It was good…and the turnout was much LARGER than I expected. There are a lot of concerned like-minded people out there, but, of course, you know that.
