Furloughs

It seems that Hillsboro County just can’t get a break.  They claim that crime is down throughout Tampa and the county, so much so that clerks of the court are going to have to start not getting paid for work they weren’t doing anyway.

The public should not notice the furlough days. Frank has timed them with already planned government holidays when the office was to be closed anyway. But employees won’t be paid for those days off.

The days are Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day); Friday, July 3 (the day off coinciding with Independence Day; and Monday, Sept. 7 (Labor Day).

So basically, these public dole parasitical govenment empoyees don’t have enough paper shiffling to make up for their salaries.  Does this mean that they are going to have to find new ways to get folks into the court system?  Or is this a good first step to eliminating some phone sanitizers?
