Anyone else remember Keith Olbermann from his Sportscenter days? He was by far the funniest/wittiest of a stellar crew, so it’s kind of a pity he’s driven his choo-choo directly off the rails.
And Matthews…he’s just loud, without the benefit of either wit or style. Darryl Hammond does a better Chris Matthews than does Chris Matthews.
Well, both of them are off the MSNBC news anchor rotation for live political events, which is good since both suffer from a particularly virulent strain of RDS (Republican Derangement Syndrome), and no one wants to see grown men faced with this cry like little girls:
It’s unseemly.
